Student data and institutional role

When TurboGrading is provided through a school or institution, that organization controls the student data and determines how it is used. We process student data on behalf of the institution to deliver grading, feedback, and analytics. TurboGrading surfaces suggested grades and feedback to help educators review different parts of student work, and instructors remain responsible for final grades and can edit or override suggestions before sharing them with students. Students should contact their institution to exercise data rights or ask questions about institutional policies.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and analytics. You can adjust your browser settings to control cookies, but some features may not function as intended.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Retention periods may vary based on institutional agreements and regulatory obligations.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We may process information in countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border transfers.
